Description:
Free simulation tool for estimations of solar thermal plant production, cost and greenhouse gas emission saved.
Three applications are available: domestic hot water, domestic hot water and heating, swimming pool.
The software also provides similarly simulations for photovoltaic and passive solar potential.

Input data are:
- Geographical location (46 French cities available)
- Solar system characteristics (orientation, inclination, albedo, area, thermal coefficients, etc.)
- Storage and heat exchanger efficiency
- Needs (hot water volume, temperature, etc.)
- Initial costs, subsidies, maintenance, energy cost of the auxiliary system, lifetime of the plant

Output data are:
- For each month: energy received, air and water temperatures, energy needs, solar energy production, solar energy share
- Economical estimations
- CO2 emissions saved

Ce logiciel à vocation essentiellement pédagogique a été développé par INES Education pour permettre :
- d’effectuer des évaluations simplifiées d’installations utilisant l’énergie solaire,
- de fournir une estimation des avantages énergétiques, économiques et environnementaux de celles-ci
