Download Now! A guide for using solar energy for camping site owners and installers (A guide for using solar energy for camping site owners and installers) Submitted Date:  2008/11/14
Description:
The conversion of solar irradiation in heat is one of the most efficient technologies of using solar energy. Solar thermal systems for producing hot water or for supporting the room heating are state of the art in the sector of one and two familiy houses. Beside this a number of applications can be found where the use of solar energy is predestined. Without any doubt one of them is the hot water production at a camping site. The reasons for that are obvious: The coincidence of the solar energy supply and hot water demand as well as the environment friendly character make a camping site one of the most suitable applications for solar thermal technics.
Despite the increasing economial potential solar thermal systems at camping sites are more the exception. For this the German Society for Solar Energy (DGS) and the German Assosation for camping site owners (BVCD) togehter with partners in Europe have launched the project SOLCAMP.
This manual is part of the project campaigning material. It shall provide detailed information on the state of the art, the dimensioning of systems, the costs and benefits of solar thermal systems for heating water at camping sites. The SOLCAMP information tools are adressed to camping site owners as well as to installers.

Description:
Multi-energy sources, for heating and cooling purposes, are considered to have a large potential in contributing to the penetration of renewable energy sources for domestic, building and industrial applications. But it requires that conventional heating and cooling systems have to be adapted or changed for incorporating renewable energy sources. Nowadays, the heating, ventilating and air-conditioning industries are the actors which have access to the market, and they provide services using mainly fossil fuels or electricity as energy sources. The objective is to have them using renewable energy, combining conventional and renewable sources and proposing environmental cost-effective products.

Download Now! Climasol - Leitfaden zur Solaren Klimatisierung (deutsch) (Climasol - Guidelines for Solar Air Conditioning) Submitted Date:  2008/10/22
Description:
The brochure offers a complete survey about all the different techniques related to solar air conditioning, useful information and advises. It also contains depth description of working installations in the different countries of the project's partners.

Original language Description:

Download Now! La climatización solar - resultados del proyecto Climasol (Climasol - Guidelines for Solar Air Conditioning) Submitted Date:  2008/10/22
Description:
Results of the Climasol-project:
The brochure offers a complete survey about all the different techniques related to solar air conditioning, useful information and advises. It also contains depth description of working installations in the different countries of the project's partners.

Original language Description:
