Free simulation tool for estimations of solar thermal plant production, cost and greenhouse gas emission saved.
Three applications are available: domestic hot water, domestic hot water and heating, swimming pool.
The software also provides similarly simulations for photovoltaic and passive solar potential.

Input data are:
- Geographical location (46 French cities available)
- Solar system characteristics (orientation, inclination, albedo, area, thermal coefficients, etc.)
- Storage and heat exchanger efficiency
- Needs (hot water volume, temperature, etc.)
- Initial costs, subsidies, maintenance, energy cost of the auxiliary system, lifetime of the plant

Output data are:
- For each month: energy received, air and water temperatures, energy needs, solar energy production, solar energy share
- Economical estimations
- CO2 emissions saved

Comfort termico, Risparmio energetico e Riduzione delle Emissioni inquinanti, sono le prerogative che vengono richieste oggi agli impianti di climatizzazione.
L’esigenza di avere in casa o nei luoghi di lavoro, un comfort termico ambientale sempre più elevato, è ormai un dato di fatto. Grandi passi in avanti sono stati fatti in questi ultimi anni per quanto riguarda l’efficienza dei generatori di calore e dei gruppi frigoriferi, un po’ meno per quanto riguarda invece i terminali d’impianto quelli cioè più vicini alla persona e che devono garantire il comfort termico in qualsiasi condizione ambientale e su tutto l’arco dell’anno.
Non basta perciò avere dei generatori ad alta efficienza che conseguono notevoli risparmi energetici, se poi i sistemi di distribuzione, di regolazione o i terminali d’impianto del caldo o del freddo lavorano in modo scorretto senza ottimizzare ai fini del comfort, l’energia che gli viene fornita.
La climatizzazione degli ambienti mediante l’impiego di pannelli radianti EUKLIMA® per soffitto e parete, è certamente una valida risposta a queste esigenze. Rispetto ad altre soluzioni impiantistiche tradizionali, i sistemi di climatizzazione con pannelli radianti EUKLIMA® consentono infatti di realizzare migliori condizioni di benessere e ridurre contemporaneamente i consumi energetici fino al 40%.
I pannelli radianti a soffitto e parete EUKLIMA® risultano adatti oltre al residenziale (nuovo o ristrutturazione), pure nel terziario, nelle scuole, ospedali, sale convegno ed in tutti quei locali dove sono richieste garanzie sul comfort, particolare igiene ambientale e ridotto inquinamento acustico.

The municipal programme for energy efficiency (SEP) of the city of Vienna was elaborated in order to increase energy efficiency in Vienna and consequently to contribute to the reduction of greenhouse gases emissions and to a relative independency in the energy field. After a wide datacollection, energy-saving measures and tools were elaborated and included in different scenarios. This led to the definition of an energy model by 2015. A special task of
arsenal research was the analysis of the situation in the district Simmering.

Das Städtische Energieeffizienz Programm (SEP) der Stadt Wien wurde ins Leben gerufen, um die Energieeffizienz in Wien zu steigern und somit einen Beitrag zur Reduktion von Treibhausgasemissionen und zu einer relativen Unabhängigkeit im Energiebereich zu leisten. Nach einer umfangreichen Datenerhebung wurden Maßnahmen und Instrumente zur Energieeinsparung erarbeitet, die in verschiedenen Szenarien abgebildet wurden. Dies führte zur Definition eines Energiemodells bis 2015. Eine spezielle Aufgabe von arsenal research war die genaue Untersuchung der Situation im Bezirk Simmering.
