Objective
The Astech network objective is to promote the usage of renewable energy technologies for heating and cooling purposes. It concerns solar thermal, heat pumps, biomass and thermal energy storage technologies, for domestic to large scale applications.
The aim is to share information between the providers and the users of renewable energy technologies in Europe. The Astech-net is a collaborative web-site, where partners can find and post information related to technological innovations, case studies and demonstration operations, tools for evaluating or sizing equipments and systems and partner profiles offering technologies or services.
Documents and information can be posted and searched in any of the 9 following languages: Bulgarian, English, French, German, Greek, Hungarian, Italian, Polish and Spanish. A dedicated multi-language search engine is available for the registered partners.
Registration
Registration is free and allows you to post and search documents in the database. Furthermore, once registered, you can publish on-line your partner profile and make it accessible to the network as well as uploading documents related to the technologies and systems you are developing.
Searching information
The Astech network is a European network and aims to facilitate access to information and contribute in developing the usage of renewable heating and cooling technologies. For this, information is accessible is 9 languages (Bulgarian, English, French, German, Greek, Hungarian, Italian, Polish and Spanish). You can search documents using your own language and will be able to identify all the relevant documents in any of the 9 languages. An abstract in English is always available.
Providing information
As a collaborative network, registered partners can upload documents, fact sheets and their partner profile on the Astech web-site. Uploading a document takes you 5 minutes. You need to enter the title of the document in English and in the original language, to quote the source of the document and to provide a short summary in English and in the original language. After validation by the Astech managing team, the document will be included in the data base and will be freely accessible to all the registered partners.
